Born from the heart of the La Vista Youth Baseball Association, our program is a community-driven initiative, passionately established by dedicated parents within La Vista, Nebraska. Our mission extends far beyond the thrill of competition, embedding itself in the development of character, community, and the holistic growth of our youth.
What We Stand For
We are dedicated to instilling the values of sportsmanship, fair play, diligence, and fellowship through the vehicle of youth sports. Our goal is to not only refine athletic skills but also nurture the personal growth of each participant.
At the core of our organization lies the spirit of unity and service. We actively encourage and practice volunteerism, believing that together, we can make a significant impact on our community.
Providing a secure environment for our youth to engage both physically and mentally is paramount. We strive to offer a haven where young athletes can flourish.
We aim to be role models for young players, showing them that with perseverance and dedication, they can reach their highest potential.
Our Roots
Randy Cahill founded the La Vista Youth Baseball Association in 2005 — the organization now known as La Vista Panthers Baseball. A dedicated youth coach, mentor, and volunteer in La Vista, Nebraska, Randy is remembered for his generosity, leadership, and impact on the community.
His vision and dedication to youth sports created a lasting impact on the La Vista community. Today we honor his legacy through the annual Cahill Combat Clash tournament, the Cahill Award, and the Cahill Memorial Scholarship.
